Lance P. Bradley is the founder and lead attorney of Bradley Law Firm, where he brings years of experience representing clients in personal injury, probate, wills and estates, real estate, business counsel, contracts, and general civil litigation. Known for his practical approach and dedication to his clients, Lance has built a reputation for achieving results through careful preparation, clear communication, and a genuine commitment to justice. Lance Bradley has been selected to Texas Super Lawyers for 2007 – 2010, 2013 – 2026. This peer designation is awarded only to a select number of accomplished attorneys in each state. The Super Lawyers selection process takes into account peer recognition, professional achievement in legal practice, and other cogent factors.
Lance was born and raised in Port Arthur, Texas where he graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School and then earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting from Lamar University in Beaumont. Lance then attended South Texas College of Law in Houston and earned his degree of Doctor of Jurisprudence in 1991.
Lance went to work for Provost Umphrey Law Firm immediately after graduating from Law School and worked there until January 2000 when he left and started his own Law Firm which continues to this day as the Bradley Law Firm.
Lance became Board Certified in Personal Injury Trial Law in 1998 and is licensed in both Texas and Mississippi. Less than ten percent of the attorneys in Texas are Board Certified. In over thirty years of practice, Lance has successfully represented clients in a wide range of cases including personal injury, wrongful death, wills and probate, business litigation, and insurance disputes. Lance represented hundreds of individuals over the years that suffered from the occupational lung disease silicosis. Lance was nationally known for his work representing victims of silicosis and represented individuals in numerous states across the country with opinions from both the Texas Supreme Court and Florida Supreme Court.
Lance has represented hundreds of individuals in all types of personal injury actions ranging from auto accidents, 18-wheeler accidents, and industrial refinery accidents and continues to represent individuals in all types of general civil litigation.
Lance has been an on-call attorney for the Combined Law Enforcement Agencies of Texas for over 15 years where he represents officers in a variety of situations. Through his work with CLEAT, Lance represented a local Constables Association that had been denied collective bargaining because they were not “Police Officers”. The case went to the Texas Supreme Court and the Court found that Constables were in fact “Police Officers” and allowed to bargain collectively.
Lance has been a Texas Rising Star in 2004 and 2005 by Texas Monthly Magazine and named a Texas Super Lawyer by the magazine 17 times in the years of 2007-2010 and 2013-2025, a distinction awarded to only a small percentage of attorneys in the state of Texas. In addition, Lance is a member of the Texas Trial Lawyers Association, Mississippi Trial Lawyers Association, American Trial Lawyers Associations, Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation, and numerous other professional associations.
Beyond his legal work, Lance is deeply engaged and involved in his community. Lance has served as Chairman of the Pleasure Island Commission, Chairman of the Jefferson County Board of Park Commissioners, Chairman of the Port Neches Improvement District, Chairman of the Port Neches Riverfest Committee, Board member and Past Chairman of the Port Neches Chamber of Commerce, Board Member of the Texas Crab Festival Charities, Past Board Member of the Bolivar Peninsula Chamber of Commerce, Board Member of the Retail Merchants Association, Board member of the Port Arthur Police Blue Santa Program, Board member of the Port Arthur Guns and Hoses Benevolent Fund, and Board member of the Port Neches Police Non-Profit Association. Lance served as chair-person of the Food Committee during the construction of the community project known as Tug-Boat Island where he coordinated serving over 500 meals per-day to volunteer workers for a 12-day period. Lance supports his community not only with his time but also with numerous charitable donations to various organizations throughout the community.
